TalkTeaV: Shudder Kicks Off 10-Year Anniversary With Halfway to Halloween Horror Lineup

Stream spine-chilling premieres, cult classics, and join live horror events across the country

Horror fans have more to celebrate this spring than just the halfway mark to Halloween. Shudder, AMC Networks’ premium horror streaming service, has launched its annual Halfway to Halloween event alongside a monthlong celebration of its 10th anniversary.

The milestone is packed with original premieres, iconic horror throwbacks, fan events, and a nationwide film tour—making 2025 one of Shudder’s most ambitious years to date.

The “Halfway to Halloween” season, traditionally recognized on April 30 or May 1, continues to grow in popularity. Once a niche tradition among horror movie lovers and Halloween diehards, it’s now embraced by theme parks, streaming services, and haunted attractions across the country. Even Disney has joined in, offering “Halfway to Halloween” experiences at its parks in recent years.
