Netflix and AGBO are teaming up once again for their sixth collaboration, bringing The Whisper Man to life with legendary actor Robert De Niro. Based on Alex North's bestselling novel, the film follows a widowed crime writer whose son is abducted, forcing him to reconnect with his estranged father—a retired police detective—only to uncover links to a decades-old serial killer case.
The movie, directed by James Ashcroft (known for The Rule of Jenny Pen and Coming Home in the Dark), is written by Ben Jacoby (The First Omen) and Chase Palmer (It). Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, and Michael Disco from AGBO are producing it, while Kassee Whiting and Marcus Viscidi are the executive producers.

AGBO and Netflix have seen massive success with hits like Extraction (2020), The Gray Man (2022), and Extraction 2 (2023), amassing over 250 million views and dominating global Top 10 charts. With The Whisper Man, the partnership looks to continue its winning streak.
Production is set to begin this spring on the East Coast.
