Apple TV+ is bringing a unique spin to the world of golf with Stick, a new comedy starring and executive produced by Owen Wilson. The 10-episode series will premiere with three episodes on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, followed by weekly releases until July 23. Created by Jason Keller, the show blends humor and heart, exploring redemption, second chances, and an unlikely mentorship.
Wilson stars as Pryce Cahill, a former golf pro whose career was cut short two decades ago. Now struggling with a failed marriage and a dead-end job at a sporting goods store, he puts all his hopes on Santi (Peter Dager)—a gifted but troubled 17-year-old golf prodigy. What follows is an unconventional, heartfelt story about finding family in unexpected places.

Alongside Wilson and Dager, the ensemble includes Marc Maron, Judy Greer, Mariana Treviño, Lilli Kay, and Timothy Olyphant. Adding authenticity to the golf setting, the series features appearances from PGA Tour stars Collin Morikawa, Keegan Bradley, Max Homa, and Wyndham Clark. Golf enthusiasts will also recognize broadcasters Jim Nantz and Trevor Immelman, along with influencers like Good Good’s Matt Scharff, Brad Dalke, and Garrett Clark.
Stick is helmed by showrunner and creator Jason Keller, with executive production from Wilson, Ben Silverman (Propagate Content), and Guymon Casady (Entertainment 360). The directorial team includes Valerie Faris, Jonathan Dayton, and David Dobkin.
