Fans of the Law & Order universe are in for a major shakeup. The latest installment, Law & Order: Organized Crime, will premiere its fifth season on Peacock with a two-episode launch and simulcast the first episode on NBC at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Thursday, April 17.

Before that, NBC is kicking off a powerful two-hour crossover between Law & Order and SVU starting at 8 p.m. that same evening. The case begins with a mysterious call to Capt. Benson, leading to a chilling discovery and a joint investigation into a disturbing pattern of sexual assaults and murders targeting marginalized women.

The two-part event brings together familiar faces and fan favorites—SVU's Benson and Carisi, Law & Order’s ADA Price, and detectives from both squads. The collaboration delivers high-stakes drama that challenges both law enforcement and legal teams to bring justice forward.

Law & Order: Organized Crime stars Christopher Meloni as Det. Elliot Stabler, returning to Peacock as a streaming original for the first time. This season’s cases explore cross-border crime rings, tech-fueled domestic threats, and a dangerous crime family bent on revenge.

Peacock will host new episodes weekly after the premiere. All three series are produced by Universal Television and Wolf Entertainment.
