Beneath this community's tidy lawns and pretty houses lie hidden secrets, complicated relationships, and a mystery. NBC's latest dark comedy, 'Grosse Pointe Garden Society,' will premiere on Sunday, February 23, at 10/9c, with episodes available for streaming the following day on Peacock.
Viewers will follow four members of a suburban garden club whose lives become entangled in scandal, mischief, and a shared secret—a murder no one dares to discuss. As dark truths begin to rot their lives under the surface, they struggle to remain as perfect as the flowers blooming in their garden.
Cast and Characters
The ensemble cast brings together familiar TV favorites and new faces, each playing a complex character caught in the tangled web of secrets.
Melissa Fumero (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) as Birdie – A reluctant member of the garden club, Birdie’s attendance is court-mandated, and she’s far from thrilled about it. Messy, complicated, and sometimes toxic, she’s not one to play by the rules.
Aja Naomi King (Lessons in Chemistry) as Catherine – On the surface, Catherine appears to have the perfect life: a loving husband, two adorable kids, and a picture-perfect home. But she’s hiding secrets that could turn everything upside down.
Ben Rappaport (Mr. Robot) as Brett – A hardworking father trying to navigate life’s obstacles while ensuring the best for his kids. His journey is filled with highs, lows, and tough decisions.
AnnaSophia Robb (Rebel Ridge) as Alice – An English teacher with big city dreams, Alice enjoys her time in the garden club but has aspirations far beyond the suburbs.
Alexander Hodge (Insecure) as Doug – Alice’s husband and an artist chasing success while balancing the realities of marriage.
Nancy Travis (So I Married an Axe Murderer) as Patty – Doug’s ambitious and fiercely protective mother, who climbed the social ranks of Grosse Pointe with determination and cunning.
Matthew Davis (The Vampire Diaries) as Joel – The stepfather to Ford, Joel is struggling to keep his marriage intact while dealing with life’s challenges.
Felix Wolfe (Raven’s Home) as Ford – The ultimate trickster, Ford is constantly weaving in and out of adult situations—but is he just mischievous, or is there something more to his antics?
The supporting cast features Daniella Alonso (Dynasty) as Misty, Nora Zehetner (The Right Stuff) plays Melissa, Ron Yuan (Mulan) as Keith, and Lainey Jane Knowles (A Loud House Christmas) rounds out the supporting cast as Zoe.
Created by Jenna Bans and Bill Krebs, who also serve as co-showrunners and executive producers alongside Casey Kyber, Grosse Pointe Garden Society, with its mix of mystery, drama, and humor could be the next binge-worthy obsession.
