Call My Agent Berlin Brings Star Power and Scandal to Disney+ This Fall

The hit French series Call My Agent is getting a German twist—Call My Agent Berlin is coming to Disney+ in fall 2025. This new adaptation promises high drama, insider comedy, and a parade of celebrity cameos set against the sleek chaos of Berlin’s film industry.

Filmed at Studio Babelsberg and across Berlin, the series centers around the fictional Stern Actors Agency, which is thrown into crisis after the sudden death of its founder. With bankruptcy looming, the agents must scramble to hold onto talent, court new stars, and keep their chaotic personal lives from exploding on the job.

Each episode features real-life German stars—Moritz Bleibtreu, Iris Berben, Emilia Schüle, Heike Makatsch, Florence Kasumba, and more—playing exaggerated versions of themselves. Behind the scenes, the drama is just as fierce as onscreen: love, betrayal, loyalty, and ambition collide in every corridor of the agency.

Call My Agent Berlin stars Lucas Gregorowicz, Karin Hanczewski, and Michael Klammer as the core team of agents. The series is directed by Boris Kunz, Laura Lackmann, and Johann Buchholz, who also co-wrote the screenplays with Timon Karl Kaleyta, Jana Buchholz, Fabienne Hurst, and Caroline Rosales.

“Many of the country's most skillful manipulators work in the film business. We are erecting a monument to them,” said showrunner Johann Buchholz.

As Disney+ continues expanding its international Originals, Call My Agent Berlin is set to deliver a blend of biting industry satire and emotionally rich storytelling.
