Bronx-born basketball standout Johnuel 'Boogie' Fland is making waves beyond the court, starring in the latest episode of Car Wash Convos, an athlete interview series presented by ZIPS Car Wash.
Currently a freshman guard for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks, Fland takes fans inside his world during a laid-back conversation while cruising through a car wash in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Hosted by Arkansas alum Taliyah Brooks, the episode gives a glimpse into Fland’s personality, touching on topics like his hidden talents, favorite "coachism," road trip must-haves, and what drives him to succeed.
Before heading to Arkansas, Fland was a force in New York high school basketball, earning accolades like the 2024 McDonald's All-American, Jordan Brand Classic selection, and Mr. New York Basketball. His achievements placed him among the top recruits in the country, and now he’s continuing to shine on the college stage.
