This summer Emma Roberts stars in the upcoming Prime Video comedy 'Space Cadet,' set to premiere on July 4, 2024. Written by Liz W. Garcia, who co-produces the film with Roberts.

Plot Summary:

In 'Space Cadet,' Emma Roberts plays Tiffany "Rex" Simpson, a Florida bartender and self-confessed party girl whose dreams of space travel come true in the most unexpected way. With the help of her supportive best friend Nadine, Rex's "doctored" application lands her in NASA's ultra-competitive astronaut training program.

Despite being out of her depth, Rex's wit, moxie, and determination make her stand out among her peers. NASA program directors Pam and Logan take notice, but can this Florida girl get through training and into the cosmos before she blows her cover?

Production Details:

Directed by Liz W. Garcia, known for 'P-Valley,' 'The Lifeguard,' and 'Cold Case,' 'Space Cadet' is executive-produced by Michael Tadross, Chris Bosco, Liz W. Garcia, Gideon Yu, Jaeson Ma, and Emma Roberts. Portions of the film's NASA training sequence were shot on location at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

As a Smithsonian Affiliate and the official visitor's center for NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center, it is also the home of Space Camp. The site features the iconic multi-axis trainer chairs that simulate a space tumble, which the actors "eagerly endured."
