The wait is almost over! After months of buzz and countless conversations, Star Wars fans are gearing up for an all-new adventure. Skeleton Crew, premiering soon on Disney+, promises to take us to a galaxy far, far away in ways we've never seen before. Here’s everything you need to know about this highly anticipated series, including some quick basics ahead of the premiere.


Skeleton Crew's Date and Where

Skeleton Crew is set to premiere on Disney+ with its first two episodes dropping on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 2 a.m. GMT (that’s Monday, December 2, at 9 p.m. EST for U.S. viewers). After that, new episodes will stream every Wednesday at the same time.



A Coming-of-Age Galactic Adventure

The series follows four kids who make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet. Their journey takes them across a strange and dangerous galaxy as they try to find their way back home. Along the way, they’ll meet unexpected allies, face dangerous enemies, and uncover secrets they never imagined.

Skeleton Crew's cast Led by Jude Law

Jude Law stars as the enigmatic Jod Na Nawood, alongside an ensemble cast: Ravi Cabot-Conyers as Wim, Ryan Kiera Armstrong as Fern, Kyriana Kratter as KB, Robert Timothy Smith as Neel, Tunde Adebimpe as Wendle, Kerry Condon as Fara, and Nick Frost voice of SM-33.

 

Other series casts include Marti Matulis as Vane, Jaleel White as Gunter, Frank Tatasciore and Stephan Oyoung as Brutus, Mike Estes as Pax, and Dale Soules as Chaelt.

The Creatives Behind the Scenes

The series has some heavy hitters working behind the scenes. Directors include Jon Watts (Spider-Man), Bryce Dallas Howard (The Mandalorian), David Lowery (The Green Knight), and the Daniels (Everything Everywhere All at Once). Writers and executive producers Jon Watts and Christopher Ford are joined by Star Wars executives Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and Kathleen Kennedy.
