MGM+ and Carnival Films have revealed the next part of its hit historical drama, Belgravia: The Next Chapter. This continuation of the 2020 limited series, set in the affluent London district synonymous with 19th-century high society is set in 1871.

Developed and written by playwright and screenwriter Helen Edmundson, the series dives into the lives of the next generation of Belgravia's residents, interwoven with the return of familiar faces from the original. Spearheaded by executive producer Julian Fellowes, known for his work on Downton Abbey and The Gilded Age, the series premieres on January 14, 2024, on MGM+.

Three decades after the events depicted in the 2020 limited series, the story follows Frederick Trenchard (Benjamin Wainwright), the third Lord Trenchard, and his newfound love interest, Clara Dunn (Harriet Slater), a newcomer to London society. Unbeknownst to Frederick, his troubled past, stemming from an affair between his mother, Susan (Alice Eve), and the enigmatic John Bellasis (Adam James), adds complexity to his courtship and marriage to Clara.
