Apple TV+ Announces The Dispatcher: A New Thriller Starring Patrick Brammall

Author Ryan David Jahn's 2011 novel, The Dispatcher, will be adapted by acclaimed writer Kris Mrksa (Underbelly) into a six-episode thriller for Apple TV+, featuring the star of the dramedy "Colin from Accounts" and horror series "Evil," Gotham Award winner Patrick Brammall.

Set in Australia, "The Dispatcher" follows the gripping story of police detective Ian Hunt (Brammall), whose life crumbled a decade ago when his young daughter, Maggie, vanished without a trace.

Now working as a police dispatcher, Hunt's unwavering belief that his daughter is still alive drives him. When he receives a distress call from a girl he is certain is Maggie, he embarks on a relentless quest to find her and mend his shattered family, regardless of the cost.

The series is executive produced by Jamie Laurenson and Hakan Kousetta of 60Forty Films, along with Mrksa and Joanna Werner of Werner Film Productions.
